JOB CHALLENGE

Together with our Netherlands client, we are deploying a Dutch-language voice AI system that evaluates frontline worker performance against standard operating procedures. The AI listens to real workplace conversations and determines whether the right things were said, in the right way, at the right moment.

Before that system can work, it needs to be trained on correctly labelled audio. That's your job. As a Data Annotator, you will listen to Dutch-language audio recordings and mark whether the speaker followed the expected script — what was said, what was missed, and what deviated from the SOP. You are not writing the rules. You are applying them, consistently, at volume.

If you label it right, the AI learns right. If the AI learns right, the client's workers get fair, accurate evaluations. The quality of your annotation is the foundation everything else is built on.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Listen to Dutch-language audio recordings of frontline worker interactions and assess whether the speaker followed the required SOP at each step.
• Label each recording accurately; marking what was said correctly, what was missed, and what deviated from the expected script.
• Document annotation findings with specific detail: not just a pass/fail, but what exactly was said or omitted and where in the interaction it occurred.
• Flag ambiguous cases with clear notes so the QC team can make a final call;  do not guess when the audio is unclear.
• Meet daily annotation targets within the assigned deadline window.
• Track and log completed sets accurately using the provided tracking tools.
• Participate in calibration sessions when SOP guidelines are updated to ensure your annotation standard stays aligned with the client's expectations.
• Maintain consistency across sessions; same judgment criteria, same level of attention, same documentation standard throughout the project.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Non-negotiable

• Proficient-level Dutch (Nederlands)
• Clean, controlled audio recording environment. Background noise is a disqualifier.
• Reliable internet connection and a device capable of recording clear audio (dedicated microphone preferred).
• Ability to commit to 2–3 hours per day for the duration of the project, with flexible scheduling.
• English proficiency sufficient to understand technical guidelines and project instructions (English is the working language).
• Close attention to detail and willingness to redo recordings that do not meet the quality bar.

Preferred — not required

• Experience with any of the following: Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), Voice AI, speech datasets, audio annotation, voice cloning, ADR/dubbing, localization audio, broadcast or media production, AI model evaluation.
• Familiarity with annotation tools or audio recording software.
• Prior experience in a remote freelance or project-based engagement.
• Domicile in Bali, in case there is an in-person meeting with the team
