About the role
The Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts will manage end-to-end financial operations for the Indonesia entity. This role is responsible for daily accounting, local tax compliance, cash flow and payment management, local payroll execution, banking relationships, and foreign exchange transactions while ensuring full alignment with corporate governance and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards (SAK) and corporate reporting guidelines.
Perform monthly balance sheet, bank, general ledger, and intercompany account reconciliations.
Assist in internal and external audit preparation, liaising directly with auditors to resolve queries.
Manage end-to-end local tax reporting and filing, including corporate income tax (PPh 25/29), withholding taxes (PPh 21, 23, 4(2), 26), and Value Added Tax (PPN / e-Faktur).
Ensure timely submission of all tax returns via local tax portals and maintain accurate tax documentation.
Monitor changes in Indonesian tax regulations to ensure continuous corporate compliance.
Oversee day-to-day payment processing, invoice verification, vendor disbursements, and employee expense reimbursements.
Maintain treasury tracking and manage short-term working capital requirements.
Enforce internal financial controls and approval matrices across all disbursement workflows.
Serve as the primary point of contact for local and international banking partners to manage daily operations and facility requirements.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting certifications (e.g., Brevet A/B/C, CA, or CPA) are strongly preferred.
4–6 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience in Indonesia, ideally within tech, distribution, or multinational corporate environments.
Proficiency in local Indonesian tax systems (e-Faktur, e-SPT, DJP Online) and statutory payroll requirements (BPJS, PPh 21).
Solid understanding of FX execution, Bank Indonesia reporting standards, and cash management.
Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
