Quebec Damage Insurance Licensed Broker, Part-Time Remote Only

Our team is looking for an experienced, hands-on, Quebec licensed Damage Insurance, Personal Lines Insurance Professional who will work closely with the Walnut team to support the sale of P&C insurance products. This individual has an active Damage Insurance license and can support the sale of property and auto insurance.

The individual would be our first Quebec Damage Licensed individual and be our licensed representative in Quebec as we start focusing on adding additional support to our partners with Quebec based audiences. You will be a critical member of our team as we expand our Quebec presence, working closely with the founding team in a fully remote organization.

Compensation will be a mutually agreed upon rate with opportunity for bonuses/commissions.

What you'll do:

• Be customer focused and respond to inbound leads and questions while working remotely

• Demonstrate effective service skills by providing options for customers to fit their unique insurance needs

• Effectively communicate by telephone and email to resolve issues, describe programs & services to customers and when appropriate

• Be Walnut’s Damage Insurance licensed representative in Quebec to the support the launch and growth of embedded programs

What you’ll bring to the table:

• AMF Damage Insurance license required to be able to offer property and auto insurance

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace suite and adaptable to change

• Effective use of time management and the ability to be a self-starter

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask

• Collect relevant information systematically and through probing questions to process inquiries quickly and accurately

Bilingual in French and English

• Life insurance experience and active license would be a big plus

• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) also a bonus

Compensation:

• Looking for an individual part-time initially and would expect that they may have other commitments

• This is a flexible role and would not require specific hours

• Compensation will depend on mutually agreed upon availability and experience
