About the role
This role involves research and formulation of new product development, particularly for disposable healthcare devices made from textile-based materials. You will analyze and optimize thread weaving processes using Air Jet Loom (AJL) machines to improve efficiency and product quality, conduct material testing, and ensure final products meet healthcare device quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Conduct research and formulation for new product development, particularly for disposable healthcare devices made from textile-based materials
Analyze and optimize thread weaving processes using Air Jet Loom (AJL) machines to increase efficiency and product quality
Conduct material testing and ensure final products meet healthcare device quality standards
Prepare technical product documents, material specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, and Technical departments for scale-up from lab/research scale to mass production
Ensure product development complies with Good Healthcare Device Manufacturing Practices (CPAKB) regulations
About you
Minimum education: SMK (Vocational High School) from Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related field
Minimum 1 year experience in R&D, preferably from textile, garment, or medical healthcare device industries. (fresh graduate are welcome)
Operational understanding and knowledge of Air Jet Loom (AJL) machine parameters
Knowledge of medical textile material characteristics (gauze, cotton thread, etc.)
Understanding of ISO 13485 quality management system standards and CPAKB is an added value
Innovative with strong analytical capabilities and detail-oriented
Willing to be placed at Batang Plant, Central Java
