University/ College Counselor

Descriptions:

The school university/ college advisor is a vital member of the education team. She/ he will help and guide the students in the areas of career counseling, looking for the best universities for their future education and working together with students.

Requirements:

• Overseas University Graduate are welcome to apply, majoring in Counseling or Psychology

• Excellent in spoken and written Indonesian and English

• Minimal 3 years of experience as a University/College Counselor in international standard school

• Communicative & highly adaptable to a new environment, passionate in education career counseling

• Good research & monitoring skills

• Willing to actively participate in the school’s university / college counseling activities and events

• Position is open to qualified candidates and Indonesian candidates are welcome to apply

Job Description:

• Work with the students when applying to the university and monitoring the process

• Organize college and university fairs

• Prepare policies, timeline, letters and information materials regarding college/university counseling

• Prepare for testing of students to identify their interests and aptitude to help in deciding subject selections/university destinations

• Advise students and parents on prospective careers and college/universities aligned with the objectives of the school

• Write recommendation letters for students (when requested)

• Maintain and share information on current services to help students seek admission in universities

• Orient students on local and international admission processes and requirements

• Create and maintain list of scholarships and special /fast track admission offered to IBDP and Cambridge IGCSE students

• Motivate the students to aim for the top universities around the world
