Procurement Specialist (Mandarin Speaker)

What You'll Do

• Execute day-to-day procurement and sourcing activities for technical and IoT-related products, including GPS trackers, dashcams, sensors, and telematics devices.

• Identify, source, and evaluate local and overseas suppliers based on product quality, pricing, lead time, MOQ, and business requirements.

• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, MOQ, payment terms, warranty, lead time, and other commercial terms.

• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to ensure clear understanding of product specifications, orders, delivery schedules, and other procurement requirements.

• Work closely with internal teams to understand product requirements and identify suitable suppliers.

• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to support Purchase Order processes and procurement planning.

• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, and delivery timelines, and follow up on supplier-related issues when needed.

• Coordinate with suppliers and relevant internal teams regarding import, shipping, and logistics activities.

• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and support the development of new supplier networks.

• Conduct regular price comparisons and supplier evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, procurement, and other relevant documentation.

• Support improvements to procurement processes, particularly in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and sourcing efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Purchasing.

• Experience sourcing electronic, electrical, or other technical products.

• Experience with IoT hardware is highly preferred.

• Experience working in companies that manufacture or distribute technical products (non-retail/FMCG) is a strong advantage.

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, particularly with overseas suppliers.

• Familiarity with procurement processes, supply chain operations, and import logistics.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Mandarin proficiency is required.
