Sr. Electrical Design Engineer (for Design & Engineering)

PT TeamworX Indonesia is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Design & Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical engineering design, engineering calculations, technical documentation, and coordination for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documents for projects.

• Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables, including SLD, load schedules, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and electrical layouts.

• Perform electrical system studies and calculations, including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.

• Review electrical equipment specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and standards.

• Coordinate electrical design activities with other engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Process, Civil/Structural, and Instrumentation & Control.

• Review technical drawings, engineering documents, and vendor documents.

• Provide technical support during project execution and resolve engineering/design-related issues.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and project teams regarding electrical engineering matters.

• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to project schedule, quality requirements, and applicable standards.

• Support the preparation of technical proposals, material specifications, and engineering reports when required.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior electrical engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design, preferably in EPCM, industrial, manufacturing, power plant, data center, or infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems, low voltage and medium voltage systems, electrical equipment, protection systems, and grounding systems.

• Experienced in preparing and reviewing electrical engineering deliverables and calculations.

• Familiar with international and local electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and PUIL.

• Proficient in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical design/calculation software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.

• Able to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Willing to work based on project requirements and travel to project sites when required.
