About the role
The Compliance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the company's compliance with applicable Indonesian laws and regulations, corporate policies, ISO management systems, internal control requirements, audit standards, 5S practices, EHS requirements, and labor regulations. The position also serves as a coordination bridge between Chinese management and Indonesian employees to ensure that company policies and management requirements are properly implemented, communicated, documented, and followed at the factory level.
Key responsibilities
Monitor compliance with applicable Indonesian laws, regulations, and government requirements relevant to manufacturing operations
Monitor implementation of company policies, procedures, work instructions, and management requirements
Identify compliance gaps, risks, and potential violations and recommend appropriate corrective actions
Maintain a compliance register and ensure regulatory requirements are reviewed and updated periodically
Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of relevant ISO management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards
Develop and implement an annual internal audit plan based on company requirements and risk assessment
Conduct or coordinate internal audits across production, warehouse, quality, EHS, HR, procurement, finance, and other relevant departments
Monitor the implementation of 5S throughout factory areas and conduct regular 5S inspections
Monitor compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and applicable Indonesian regulations
Monitor compliance with Indonesian manpower and employment regulations
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Law, Management, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, management systems, quality, EHS, HR compliance, or related functions
Experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred
Experience working in a Chinese-invested company / PMA is highly preferred
Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 13485, internal audit principles, 5S, EHS, and Indonesian labor regulations
Fluent in English, both written and verbal, Mandarin conversational to fluent proficiency is preferably required
Strong in audit and inspection with detail-oriented approach
Able to communicate effectively with both Chinese management and Indonesian employees
High in integrity and able to maintain confidentiality
Willing to be placed in KITB Batang, Central Java
