Engineering Project Leader

Engineering Project Leader – Aquaculture Infrastructure & Automation (Civil/Mechanical) 

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager (PM) with a dual background or strong collaborative experience in Civil and Mechanical Engineering. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of our sustainable aquaculture facilities. This includes the civil layout (ponds, tanks, water intake infrastructure) and mechanical automation (filtration, pumps, feeding systems, and specialized machinery). You will bridge the gap between structural engineering and machine deployment to scale up our commercial operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of land-based or marine aquaculture infrastructure from initial site selection through final commissioning. 
• Manage the engineering design and earthworks construction for facility structural frameworks, concrete tank arrays, drainage channels, and water containment systems. 
• Coordinate the procurement, installation, and optimization of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS), automated feeding systems, oxygenators, water filtration loops, and harvesting machinery.
• Draft technical scopes of work, evaluate EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) tenders, and supervise third-party civil and machinery contractors on-site.
• Ensure all civil structures and mechanical installations adhere to international environmental regulations, local maritime laws, and strict biosecurity standards. 
• Partner closely with biological teams, water quality specialists, and farm operators to align engineering metrics with biomass survival and growth targets. 

Required Qualifications & Skills : 

• Bachelor’s in Civil, Mechanical, Agricultural, or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience, explicitly managing heavy industrial, water treatment, agricultural processing, or marine civil works. 
• Proven experience with fluid mechanics, hydraulics, piping networks, and pump stations.
• Deep understanding of concrete structures exposed to corrosive, saline, or aquatic environments.
• Advanced capability in AutoCAD, MS Project.
• Communication skills (articulation, storytelling, reporting skills).
• Systems thinking and design capabilities.
• Sidoarjo (East Java) based.
