About the role
We are seeking a Quality Section Head (Management Trainee) to join our quality assurance and control team at our Jakarta facility. This is a full-time position designed to develop talented professionals into senior quality management roles. As Quality Section Head (Management Trainee), you will gain hands-on experience in managing quality operations whilst receiving mentorship from senior leadership. This role is instrumental in maintaining our commitment to product excellence and regulatory compliance, and offers a clear pathway for career progression within our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations, such as ISO 9001.

• Develop, review, and update QMS documentation, including SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), forms, and operational procedures, for production and supporting areas.

• Conduct periodic internal quality audits across production and other relevant departments.

• Monitor and analyze audit findings, prepare audit reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control (QC), and Engineering departments to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout processes and products

• Support risk assessment and continuous improvement activities related to the quality management system within the manufacturing environment.

• Support the preparation for and facilitate external audits, including certification, surveillance, and customer audits.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and actively participate in quality improvement projects across the company.
  

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related technical field.

• At least 1-2 years experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, freshgraduate are welcome to apply

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, Laboratory management system, and CAPA Impelementation.

• Experience with quality control tools and methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels

• Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Knowledge of battery manufacturing or related industries is highly desirable

• Willingness to learn and develop management competencies through structured training and mentoring

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
