Senior BIM Modeller (HVAC/MEP)

About the role

PT SHINSUNG ENC INDONESIA is seeking a Senior BIM Modeler to join our Engineering Drafting team. This is a full-time position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta and Malaysia. As a Senior BIM Modeler, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for complex engineering and construction projects. This position is critical to ensuring the quality, accuracy, and coordination of BIM deliverables across multiple disciplines, directly supporting the successful execution of our projects and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the engineering sector.

Key responsibilities :

• 3D Modeling & Drafting: Develop detailed 3D BIM models and 2D shop drawings for HVAC, mechanical, and MEP systems using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD

• Clash Detection & Coordination: Utilize Navisworks to perform clash detection and coordinate designs across multidisciplinary teams (Electrical, Structural, and Architecture) to ensure seamless system integration

• Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering deliverables, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and detailed sections

• Material Take-Off (MTO): Extract accurate material quantities from BIM models to assist in the preparation of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

• Design Revision: Update and revise drawings based on site measurements, survey data, client feedback, and actual site conditions to produce as-built drawings

• Standards Compliance: Ensure all drawings and models comply with local building codes, industry standards, and specific project requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in BIM modelling, preferably within engineering or construction environments

• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD is mandatory

• Strong experience with Navisworks for project coordination and clash management

• Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is an advantage

• Solid understanding of HVAC system components, including ducting, piping, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and chillers

• BIM modeling for large-scale construction or EPC projects

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret complex design concepts, and effective communication skills for collaborating with engineers and project managers

• Fluent in English is preferred
