Assistant Tax Manager role supporting the Tax Manager/Partner in handling client tax projects.
Key responsibilities
Assist Tax Manager/Partner in handling client tax projects
Review work of senior and junior team members
Handle client tax projects accurately and on time including: Tax compliance, Tax advisory, Tax review, Tax dispute (Examination, Objection, Appeal, Judicial Review), Transfer pricing, Tax due diligence
Communicate and coordinate with clients regarding document requirements and work updates
Provide direction, supervision, and mentoring to junior and senior team members
Monitor updates to tax regulations and provide analysis of changes in tax rules
Assist in developing and maintaining good relationships with clients
