About the role
An Internal Sales Engineer provides technical support to the Sales team and customers regarding products and applications. The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable products based on technical specifications, and ensuring all products offered are in accordance with customer requirements and applicable specifications.
Key responsibilities
Provide technical support to the Sales team and customers regarding products and applications
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on technical specifications
Review customer inquiries, specifications, drawings, datasheets, and product requirements
Assist in handling customer complaints, technical issues, RMA, replacement, and product claims
Provide after-sales technical support when required
Maintain proper records of customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and technical documentation
Ensure all products offered are in accordance with customer requirements and applicable specifications
About you
Good understanding of engineering products and technical specifications
Ability to read and understand datasheets, drawings, and technical documents
Good communication and coordination skills
Good command of English, especially for business correspondence
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow up tasks effectively
Able to work independently and as part of a team
