QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional license/certification (e.g., SKA/SKK or equivalent) is highly desirable.
[Mandatory] Proficient in English (Spoken, Written, and Read).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP engineering specifically in Office Interior Fit-out or high rise building.
[Mandatory] Proficient to read and interpret AutoCAD/SketchUp drawings.
Deep technical expertise in HVAC (chilled water systems, VRV/VRF), electrical distribution (data/voice, UPS, lighting design), fire protection (sprinklers, smoke detectors), and plumbing/sanitary systems and IT works (Server, CCTV, Access door, Access router, VC equipment).
Strong familiarity with high-rise building fit-out guidelines, landlord technical specifications, local building codes, and safety standards (e.g., SNI, NFPA).
Exceptional problem-solving skills regarding site constraints and spatial limitations.
Strong communication skills to negotiate with building landlords and MEP consultants.
Physically fit and Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously
Possession of a valid SIM A and / or SIM C (driver’s licenses) is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct and manage the MEP engineering team, site supervisors, and drafters across multiple interior fit-out projects.
Establish company-wide MEP installation standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) guidelines.
Evaluate MEP design concepts, engineering calculations, and specifications submitted by consultants or clients during pre-construction phases.
Review and approve MEP Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations for project tenders and variation orders (VO).
Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs without sacrificing performance or quality.
Lead technical evaluations and negotiations with major MEP material suppliers and sub-contractors.
Manage sub-contractor selection, contract agreements, and monitor sub-contractor performance across projects.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for clients, building management heads, lead consultants, and project directors.
Resolve major technical challenges, regulatory non-compliance issues, or project disputes related to MEP engineering.
Ensure final Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and authority/building management approvals are successfully achieved across all project sites.
