Housekeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a professional, discreet, and service-oriented Housekeeper to join the household team of a luxury private villa in Bali.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the villa to an exceptional standard while providing attentive and personalized service to the villa owners and guests. This position is ideal for someone with experience in luxury villas, five-star hotels, private residences, or high-end hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist with the daily housekeeping operations of the property.

• Ensure all guest rooms, villas, public areas, and staff areas are cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard.

• Assist with packing and unpacking including folding and hanging clothing items. 

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and property areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail.

• Maintain housekeeping procedures, cleaning schedules, and quality standards.

• Monitor and manage laundry operations, including linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.

• Ensure all cleaning equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working condition.

• Work closely with the Villa Manager and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, preferences, and housekeeping-related concerns.

• Maintain a high level of discretion and respect for guest privacy and personal belongings.

• Assist with preparation of the property for VIP arrivals, special occasions, events, and high-profile guests.

• Continuously improve housekeeping procedures, efficiency, presentation, and guest experience.
  

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a Butler, Housekeeper, Villa Attendant, Room Attendant, or similar hospitality position.

• Experience in a luxury villa, five-star hotel, resort, or private residence is highly preferred.

• Strong housekeeping and attention-to-detail skills.

• Good understanding of professional cleaning, laundry, ironing, linen care, and household organization.

• Service-minded, polite, trustworthy, discreet, and dependable.

• Able to anticipate guest needs and provide a high level of personalized service.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently as well as part of a household team.

• Flexible and willing to work according to the requirements of a private villa environment.

• Good personal grooming and professional appearance.

• Able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia; conversational English is preferred.
