Store SPV / Asst Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store SPV / Assistant Manager to join our warehousing and distribution operations in Batam, Riau Islands. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to take on a supervisory and management role within our growing logistics network. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing team performance, and ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of service delivery and operational excellence across our facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to safety protocols

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management and record-keeping

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of goods to meet customer requirements

• Implement and maintain warehouse organisation systems to maximise efficiency and minimise errors

• Conduct regular quality checks on stored goods and packaging to ensure standards are met

• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations

• Liaise with logistics and operations teams to coordinate delivery schedules and distribution routes

• Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks to improve productivity

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies

• Maintain accurate documentation and generate performance reports for management review

• Support the Store Manager in achieving operational targets and KPIs

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or assistant management role within the logistics, storage, or distribution sector minimum 1 year

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and storage best practices

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams

• Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehousing operations

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Fluency in English and/or Mandarin language is a plus

• Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations are advantageous
