Site Manager

About the role

Site Manager position for large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments across Indonesia. You'll contribute to construction and infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic project environment, with a strong focus on safety, innovation, and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site operations for industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or tank terminal projects

• Coordinate with client and EPC teams on project requirements and specifications

• Read and interpret structural drawings, GA drawings, detail rebar, and elevation plans

• Calculate volume and rebar quantity requirements (rebar quantity takeoff)

• Oversee piling methods (driven pile/hammer, bore pile) and foundation work for tank and heavy structures

• Manage QA/QC for concrete work including slump test, cube test, and curing procedures

• Manage basic project scheduling including S-curve/Gantt charts and critical path concepts

• Handle field problem-solving including delays and discrepancies between drawings and site conditions

• Maintain HSE awareness for oil & gas environments (hot work permit, confined space, etc.)

About you

• S1 Teknik Sipil (Civil Engineering degree) minimum; background in struktur/geoteknik preferred

• Minimum 10 years experience with kontraktor (not developer or arsitek)

• Minimum 5 years as Site Manager (not Site Engineer/Supervisor) on industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or tank terminal projects

• Conversational English language ability minimum

• Willing to be placed on projects outside Java

• Able to read structural drawings and levelling (GA drawing, detail rebar, elevasi)

• Capable of volume calculations and rebar quantity takeoff

• Knowledge of piling methods (driven pile/hammer, bore pile) and foundation for tank/heavy structures

• Basic QA/QC knowledge for concrete work (slump test, cube test, curing)

• Basic scheduling skills (S-curve/Gantt reading, critical path understanding)
