Financial Controller

Job Summary

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's financial and accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, effective financial controls, regulatory compliance, and sound financial planning. This position works closely with senior management to provide financial insights, manage cash flow and budgets, improve business performance, and support strategic decision-making. The role also leads the Finance and Accounting team and ensures that all financial processes are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, taxation, and treasury.

• Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure all financial reports are submitted within the required deadlines.

• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads and senior management.

• Monitor budget performance, analyze financial variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

• Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, banking activities, and funding requirements.

• Monitor revenue, operating expenses, gross profit, EBITDA, and other key financial performance indicators.

• Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal controls, financial procedures, and approval processes.

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal company policies.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant government authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or in a similar position is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, taxation, and internal controls.

• Good understanding of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and applicable tax regulations.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong financial data-analysis skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Proven ability to manage, supervise, and develop a Finance and Accounting team.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
