About the role
The Cruise Director oversees the overall guest experience and satisfaction throughout the voyage. You will act as the main point of contact between guests and the onboard team, welcoming guests and providing briefings on the itinerary, vessel facilities, safety procedures, and onboard rules.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the overall guest experience and satisfaction throughout the voyage
Welcome guests and provide briefings on the itinerary, vessel facilities, safety procedures, and onboard rules
Act as the main point of contact between guests and the onboard team
Coordinate the daily itinerary and guest activities with the Captain and crew
Ensure activities are conducted safely and according to the agreed schedule
Communicate and coordinate any itinerary changes caused by weather, safety, or operational requirements
Coordinate with all onboard departments to ensure guest needs, schedules, and activities are properly managed
Handle guest inquiries, requests, complaints, and feedback professionally
Provide daily briefings to guests regarding schedules, activities, weather, and other relevant information
Monitor and maintain the Company's service standards throughout the voyage
About you
Ability to represent the Company professionally throughout the voyage
Ability to maintain the Company's image, reputation, and established service standards
Ability to resolve guest concerns and escalate significant matters to management when necessary
Knowledge of applicable safety procedures for guest activities
