About the role
Lead backend, frontend, and Android development using Spring Boot, Kotlin, TypeScript, NuxtJS, NextJS, and native Android. Design system architecture and select the right technologies/middleware, including Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, and SQL. Ensure payment gateway and EDC systems are secure, scalable, highly available, and reliable.
Key responsibilities
Lead backend, frontend, and Android development using Spring Boot, Kotlin, TypeScript, NuxtJS, NextJS, and native Android
Review code, solve technical issues, optimize performance, and prevent potential production problems
Ensure code quality and security before production using SAST (SonarQube), SCA (Trivy), code review, and security best practices
Lead or participate in penetration testing, stress/load testing, and vulnerability remediation
Design system architecture and select the right technologies/middleware, including Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, and SQL
Ensure payment gateway and EDC systems are secure, scalable, highly available, and reliable
Work with Product Managers to prioritize, estimate, schedule, and deliver technical initiatives
Work with Infrastructure/DevOps teams on deployment, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production operations
Lead production incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and system improvement
Ensure systems meet PCI DSS and other applicable security, regulatory, audit, and certification requirements
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of software development experience
Strong experience in payment gateways, payment systems, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred
Proven experience building, managing, and scaling high-availability, high-volume, transaction-based systems
Strong understanding of payment technologies and protocols, including ISO 8583, Payment HSM (Atalla/Payshield), SAM Card, and related technologies
Strong understanding of software architecture, security, system integration, and database technologies
Experience with security testing, vulnerability management, and PCI DSS or other relevant security/certification standards
Strong problem-solving, technical decision-making, and communication skills
