About the role
This is a Fashion Design role focused on creating and visualizing design ideas, developing product ranges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including buyers, production, and design colleagues to bring concepts to life.
Key responsibilities
Creating and visualizing design ideas and producing designs
Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends and general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes
Planning and developing ranges
Working with others in Design Teams, such as buyers and Productions, to develop products to meet a brief
Create design, choosing appropriate fabrics and follow up samples
Developing patterns that are cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, deadline and adaptations
Create technical spec design (Technical Sheet)
Collaborating with the photoshoot team to visualize the collection so the message is delivered correctly
Choosing fabrics and trimmings for collection development, and sometimes dealing with suppliers
About you
Possess at least a Diploma Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
Maximum of 2 years of work experience in Fashion Design
Strong knowledge of product development and pattern making
Proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Freehand and Microsoft Office
Creative, fast learner, and highly motivated with excellent service attitude
Have a deep understanding of fabric and its characteristics
Willing to commit to this program for a minimum of 6 months
