Rigger

We are currently recruiting professional candidates for Rigger to join and work at High Volt Technology with the following qualifications:

1. Minimum High School (SLTA/SMK) graduate with at least 2 (two) years of work experience as a rigger and a medical clearance certificate from a doctor or hospital. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position;

2. Possession of OHS (K3) certification, BNSP, and/or NCCO certification as a rigger is an advantage;

3. Have knowledge of various types of ropes, slings, and other lifting equipment;

4. Understanding of how to calculate load capacity and the center of gravity;

5. Ability to read and understand work instructions related to load lifting;

6. Good communication skills for inter-team coordination;

7. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

Candidates will be assigned and responsible for the following:

1. Determine the best lifting method based on the load type and site conditions, including calculating load capacity to ensure it does not exceed the lifting equipment's safety limits;

2. Select lifting aids appropriate for the workload capacity in accordance with established safety standards;

3. Secure loads, goods, or materials following established rigging procedures and calculation results;

4. Re-inspect the rigging setup and lifting aids used to ensure compliance with established safety standards;

5. Install and secure lifting equipment such as slings, wire ropes, and other auxiliary devices;

6. Operate lifting equipment—such as cranes, hoists, and forklifts—to lift, move, and position loads according to instructions;

7. Maintain and care for lifting aids, including inspecting lifting and handling equipment prior to use;

8. Comply with established Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and standards;

9. Communicate with lifting equipment operators and other team members to ensure the load is lifted safely and correctly throughout the operation;

10. Maintain logbooks and prepare daily reports regarding crane operation activities.
