HSSE Officer

About The Role

OMS Oilfield Services is seeking an experienced HSSE Officer to join one of our facilities in Bogor, West Java. The role focuses on ensuring the plant operates in compliance with corporate and local statutory HSE requirements, promoting a positive HSE culture in the workplace, and working in partnership with employers, employees and clients to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, environmental damage, accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the plant operates in compliance to corporate and local statutory HSE requirements

• Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace and work in partnership with employers, employees and clients to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, environmental damage, accidents and injuries

• Implement, maintain and establish HSE policies and procedures ensuring that they meet all relevant statutory, client and corporate requirements

• Maintain and submit all HSE permits and licenses required by local authorities

• Conduct and review risk assessment, aspects and impacts analysis, corrective and preventive measures, safe work procedures and environmental matters

• Conduct safety induction to new employees, visitors and subcontractors

• Monitor and report HSE performances on a timely manner and make recommendation for continuous improvement

• Perform near misses/incident investigations and follow up with all appropriate managers to close HSE related action items

• Implement and rehearse emergency response plans and procedures on a regular basis

• Identify training requirements and develop training programs

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in oil & gas industry (preferred)

• HSE Training Certificates (Ahli K3 Umum by Kemnaker RI) required

• Experienced in handling CSMS

• Familiar with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018

• Basic Safety Training Certificate, syllabus must consist of Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis

• H2S hazard Certificate, Basic Fire Fighting and Certificate of Basic First Aid

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and Excel
