micro1 is engaging Japanese bilingual experts to contribute to a customer's audio project focused on advancing machine learning. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Record yourself reading sentences in Japanese, either from a stationary car or a quiet office environment.
- Create specific background noises (such as seatbelt clicks, door openings, or car indicator signals) while ensuring all audio is captured with the vehicle stationary and in a safe manner.
- Follow detailed linguistic and technical guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability of language data.
- Submit high-quality audio recordings and accompanying written feedback as required by the project.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators on clarifications, updates, or feedback related to deliverables.
- Ensure all recordings and data submissions comply with confidentiality and ethical use guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese, with clear enunciation and natural fluency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and at least B2-level English.
- Ability to follow precise instructions and meet project specifications for audio quality and content.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting and managing your own workflow for assigned tasks.
- Attention to detail, especially regarding pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.
