Factory Manager - Karawang - WFO (ID: 709424)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage overall manufacturing and factory operations.

• Lead and coordinate three key functions: Quality, Purchasing, and Maintenance / Die Production.

• Conduct regular on-site factory patrols to monitor operational activities and identify potential issues.

• Provide direction, guidance, and hands-on support to team members and subordinates.

• Conduct coaching, training, and instructions to improve team performance and operational effectiveness.

• Monitor daily factory operations and ensure activities are carried out according to company standards and procedures.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational, quality, purchasing, and maintenance-related issues.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall factory performance.

• Report operational issues and factory performance to management and provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any major.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Japanese manufacturing company.

• Previous experience in a managerial or senior leadership position within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in managing and coordinating multiple functional teams.

• Willing to be based in Karawang — this is a mandatory requirement.

• Good command of English — mandatory.

• Japanese language proficiency is an advantage.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Hands-on and willing to conduct regular on-site factory monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing Quality, Purchasing, and Maintenance / Die Production functions.

• Experience in a Japanese manufacturing environment with strong exposure to factory operations.

• Experience managing and developing team members across different functions.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and factory management.
