· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
· Expertise in database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or SQL Server.
· Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
· Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
· Knowledge of backup and recovery tools and strategies.
· Familiarity with database security best practices.
· Hands-on experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL, etc.).
· Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
