Server & IT Equipment Specialist

About the Role

REF GROUP INDONESIA is looking for a Server & IT Equipment Specialist to join our Production team.
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, assembling, and preparing enterprise IT equipment before it is delivered to customers. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of every server we ship.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming IT equipment.

• Check equipment completeness and physical condition.

• Register equipment in the inventory management system.

• Perform diagnostics and hardware testing.

• Assemble server configurations according to customer requirements.

• Update BIOS, Firmware, and BMC when required.

• Perform final quality inspections before shipment.

• Organize and maintain warehouse storage.

• Ensure correct labeling and serial number control.

• Participate in inventory counts.

• Support the Sales team with technical verification of equipment.

• Inspect equipment returned under warranty.

• Assist with packing equipment for shipment when required.

Requirements

Required

• At least 2 years of experience working with servers or enterprise IT equipment.

• Good understanding of server hardware and components.

• Experience with server diagnostics, assembly, or testing.

• Basic English communication skills.

• Good computer skills.

Preferred

Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage: Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, Supermicro

Also preferred:

• Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems.

• Experience updating BIOS, Firmware, or BMC.

• Experience handling warranty inspections.
