About the role

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Reservation Agent (Afternoon Shift) to join our reservations team at Ametis Villa Bali in Badung. This is a full-time position based on-site, working during afternoon shift hours. As a Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings and ensuring a seamless pre-arrival experience. This role is strategically important to our business, as your performance directly impacts occupancy rates, guest satisfaction, and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Responding promptly to guest inquiries via telephone, email, and online booking platforms

• Processing and confirming villa reservations, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the booking system

• Providing detailed information about villa amenities, facilities, services, and local attractions to prospective guests

• Assisting guests with special requests, preferences, and customised itinerary planning

• Managing cancellations, modifications, and amendments to existing reservations

• Coordinating with other departments, including housekeeping and guest services, to ensure guest needs are communicated effectively

• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of villa packages, pricing, availability, and promotional offers

• Following up with potential guests to encourage booking confirmations

• Handling payments and processing invoices in accordance with company procedures

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all reservations and guest communications

• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during peak periods

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Reservation Agent or in a similar customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; multilingual abilities are highly advantageous

• Proficiency in using reservation systems, computer applications, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously

• Outstanding customer service mindset with a genuine passion for helping guests

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous under pressure

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

• Knowledge of Badung, Bali, and the local tourism landscape is a plus

• Flexibility to work afternoon shift hours, including weekends and public holidays as required

• High level of integrity and discretion when handling guest information
