Drafter & Structure Engineer

We are a professional equipment rental company specializing in audio systems, lighting, rigging, and LED visual systems. We are currently looking for a skilled and technically capable Drafter & Structure Engineer to join our dynamic team in designing and ensuring the structural requirements of projects/events. This position is responsible for creating technical drawings, performing structural calculations and planning, conducting site surveys, and providing technical support throughout the installation and event execution process.

Job Description:

• Create and develop technical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, detail drawings, and structural drawings according to project requirements.

• Perform structural planning and basic structural calculations to ensure the strength, stability, and safety of structures.

• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and technical assessments to obtain accurate data on actual site conditions.

• Review and perform quality control of drawings before they are used for production or installation processes.

• Revise drawings based on design changes, project requirements, or actual site conditions.

• Ensure that designs and drawings can be implemented effectively and efficiently during fabrication and installation.

• Coordinate with Project/Production, Rigging, Warehouse, Logistics, vendors, and subcontractors regarding project technical requirements.

• Prepare and maintain technical drawing documentation and records of design changes throughout the project.

• Evaluate material utilization and installation methods to improve project efficiency.

• Ensure structural work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and project technical requirements.

• Conduct site visits and provide support during project/event execution as required by the company.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2+ years experience in Stage Design / Exhibition Design / Technical Design / Architecture.

• Experience in temporary structures, event production, construction, stage, truss/rigging, or related fields is an advantage.

• Have in-depth knowledge of event technical, building design, specifications, codes, and structural analysis.

• Proficient in 2D & 3D design software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SAP2000, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.

• Able to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, architectural drawings, and technical specifications.

• Able to conduct site surveys, measurements, and technical inspections.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Honest, disciplined, responsible, and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Able to work under tight deadlines and adapt to project/event requirements.

• Willing to travel out of town, work on weekends, or work outside regular working hours when required during events.

• Possess a valid SIM C and SIM A driving license.

• Excellent written and oral communication in Bahasa and English is a must.
