Senior Procurement Staff

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Procurement Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement processes, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and strategic sourcing across the organization.

Key Requirements

1. Education

• Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Engineering, or other relevant fields.

• A Master's degree (S2) in Supply Chain / Business Administration is an added advantage.

2. Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement.

• Experience in mining, construction, or manufacturing industries is preferred.

• Proven track record in handling high-value procurement.

• Preferable in coal or mining industry

3. Technical Competence

• Solid understanding of the end-to-end procurement process (PR ? RFQ ? PO ? BAST).

• Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Proficient in price and purchase price variance analysis.

• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Good understanding of procurement regulations, compliance, and governance.

• Knowledge of heavy equipment spare parts (specifications, compatibility, sourcing for excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, etc.) and working engineering knowledge to understand specs and assess quality.

4. Management Competence

• Able to develop and monitor procurement KPIs.

• Experience in long-term contract management.

• Understanding of spend analysis and cost-saving concepts.

• Able to develop effective sourcing strategies.

5. Soft Skills

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Analytical and data-driven mindset.

• Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

• High integrity, free from conflicts of interest.

• Strong cross-departmental coordination skills.

6. Language Skills

• Fluent in Indonesian (mandatory).

• Active written and spoken English (highly preferred, especially for multinational companies).

7. Professional Certifications (Added Value)

• CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)

• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)

• CPPM (Certified Professional Purchasing Manager)

• PMP (for those handling procurement projects)
