Offset Production Supervisor (Shift)

Location: Kudus Plant, Central Java

Industry: Printing & Packaging Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Offset Production Supervisor to head our daily manufacturing operations at the Kudus Plant. This role is fully accountable for meeting production output targets, maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), enforcing rigorous quality control standards, and leading shop-floor teams to consistently achieve high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and allocate production resources (machinery, raw materials, and shift schedules) while ensuring full operational readiness prior to production runs.

• Control shift execution to meet output targets; collaborate closely with Maintenance & Engineering teams to minimize machine downtime and operational bottlenecks.

• Monitor strict quality parameters, including color matching accuracy, initial production start-up / COJ controls, handling of Non-Conformance (NC) pallets, and swift resolution of quality defects and customer complaints.

• Evaluate daily Key Performance Indicators (output, lost time, reject rate, and OEE) using actual shop-floor data and ERP system records.

• Verify and manage operational documentation, including Production Release Orders (PRO), shift reports, machine logbooks, and data input accuracy.

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate production personnel; enforce workplace discipline, safety standards, and corrective actions to elevate team competency.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Associate / Bachelor’s Degree (D3 / S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology (Grafika), or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in offset printing or the packaging manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding and practical execution of Autonomous Maintenance across Offset presses, Autoplaten, Stripping/Blanking, and Folder Gluer machinery.

• Exceptional proficiency in color matching and visual inspection.

• Deep technical knowledge of offset printing defects, root cause analysis, and corrective countermeasures.

• Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office (Excel & Word).

• Strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving capabilities (e.g., 5-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram).

• Assertive leadership, excellent interpersonal communication, and the ability to compose structured, data-driven operational reports
