PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients, a leading Japanese construction and civil engineering company, in finding great talent as a Planning Engineer at Sewerage Development Project with the requirements as follows:

Working location:  West Jakarta

Job Responsibility:

• Prepare construction plans, including construction sequences, lifting plans, casting plans, and other related construction planning documents.

• Prepare construction schedules and detailed work schedules.

• Conduct quantity take-offs for construction works.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of construction activities.

• Monitor, evaluate, and report project progress.

• Prepare progress evaluation sheets for subcontractor payment processes.

• Coordinate with project members, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other relevant parties.

• Monitor construction progress and identify potential schedule delays or project risks.

• Support project scheduling, progress monitoring, and project reporting activities.

• Conduct regular site visits to check and verify actual construction progress against planned schedules.

• Coordinate and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors when required.

• Support the project team in ensuring construction activities are completed according to the established plans and timelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry.

• Diploma (D3/D4) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Strong knowledge of construction planning and scheduling.

• Able to prepare comprehensive construction plans and work sequences.

• Experienced in conducting construction quantity take-offs.

• Able to prepare and manage detailed construction schedules.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.

• Willing to work on-site and regularly check actual construction progress.

• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and negotiation skills, particularly when dealing with vendors and subcontractors.

• Able to work under pressure and effectively as part of a project team.

• Experience using Microsoft Project is preferred.

• Experience using SAP2000 is an advantage.

• Experience in negotiating with vendors and subcontractors is preferred.

• Experience in large-scale civil, infrastructure, EPC, WWTP, sewerage, or similar construction projects will be highly advantageous.
