We are a creative printing and design studio that produces a wide range of materials including
marketing collateral, multi-page documents, books, brochures, and digital designs. We are
seeking a detail-oriented Design and Typesetting Specialist to support our in-house designers
with layout, typesetting, and production work.
This role starts part-time and is expected to grow into a full-time position. The person in this role
will be the production backbone of the design team, helping turn creative concepts into clean,
accurate, and print-ready files.
Key Responsibilities

• Typeset and format multi-page documents, brochures, books, catalogs, and other printed
  

materials

• Build and maintain layouts using professional grids, margins, styles, and templates
  
• Prepare print-ready files including bleeds, trim marks, and correct color and resolution
  

settings

• Assist with graphic design work for marketing materials and client projects
  
• Make edits and revisions based on proofs and client feedback
  
• Organize and manage design files and versions
  
• Support senior designers by handling the execution and production side of projects
  
• Create and manage merged documents for mailings and personalized print projects,
  

duplicating designed files with variable data such as names, addresses, and other
customized fields

• Ensure accuracy and consistency across all merged and versioned files
  
• Use modern design and AI tools to improve speed and accuracy
  

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  
• Solid experience with typesetting and layout design, especially for continuous and
  

multi-page text

• Experience with document merging, data-driven layouts, and variable content in
  

InDesign or similar tools

• Understanding of print production standards and file preparation
  
• High attention to detail and consistency
  
• Ability to work through repetitive production tasks accurately and efficiently
