Candidate location: No South Carolina residency required. Open tonationwide candidates; must be able to work eastern time zone hours. Alltravel-related costs for onsite work will be the responsibility of theresource, regardless of the frequency of onsite work.

Project Scope:

We are seeking an experienced PrincipalCloud Architect to provide enterprise-level architecture expertise forcloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead the design,implementation, and adoption of a cloud-native integration platform built onMicrosoft Azure.

The role will focus on developing scalableenterprise integration solutions using APIs, event-driven architecture,messaging platforms, cloud data technologies, and modern cloud engineeringpractices.

Key Responsibilities:

·Leadarchitecture, design, and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions usingMicrosoft Azure.

·Design andimplement cloud-native integration patterns using REST APIs, event-drivenarchitecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.

·Provide technicalleadership and architecture guidance to development teams, project teams, andimplementation partners.

·Develop andmaintain cloud architecture standards, technical documentation, governancepractices, and solution design patterns.

·Collaborate withenterprise architects, cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, businessstakeholders, and vendors.

·Design andimplement enterprise data platforms using cloud-based data lake, analytics, anddata engineering technologies.

·Support cloudadoption strategies and ensure solutions align with security, scalability, andperformance requirements.

·Mentor technicalteams and provide knowledge transfer on cloud architecture best practices.

·Promotecontinuous improvement, automation, and cloud engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

·12+ years ofexperience in enterprise technology solutions.

·10+ years ofexperience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications andplatforms.

·7+ years ofexperience designing and implementing cloud solutions and cloud-nativearchitectures using Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.

·Strong experiencedesigning enterprise integration solutions using:

• REST APIs, Event-driven architecture, Asynchronous messaging, Distributed systems
  

·Experiencedesigning and implementing enterprise data platforms, including:

• Cloud data lakes, Analytics platforms, Data engineering solutions
  

·Strongunderstanding of cloud security, identity and access management, scalability,performance optimization, monitoring, and operational support.

·Strongcommunication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

·Experienceintegrating enterprise systems such as: SAP, SAP S/4HANA, ERP platforms, HRsystems, Financial applications

·Experiencesupporting government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.

·Experience with: AzureAPI Management, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Event Grid, ERPintegration solutions

·Experienceestablishing: Enterprise architecture standards, Cloud governance practices, Technicaldesign patterns, Solution documentation

·Experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC), including: Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates

·Experience with: CI/CDpipelines, DevOps practices, Development automation

·Experience withcloud architecture certifications and frameworks.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,Data Science, or a related technical field.
