Document Controller

This role will assist the Project Manager in documentation and drawing(checks and minor edits). Having autocad experience is preferred.

What you’ll do:

The primary function of the job is managing all the project documentation for invoicing and prepare drawing for approval within the country.  

• Coordinate internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors quality controls of project documentation to ensure deliverables meet requirements.

• Prepare and provide documentation to internal teams , customer and key stakeholders.

• Communicate with accounting to ensure all subcontract documents are fully executed prior to payment.

• Communicate and collaborate with subcontractors during pre-construction, construction and job close-out phases of project

• Working in collaboration with the project team members to meet with project expectation. 

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

• Effectively collaborate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, contract modifications and approvals

• Having the ability to operate AutoCAD.

• Attend all project meetings and take notes

• Provide the necessary support to fully implement and sustain the QMS

• Communicating to the organization the importance of conforming to QMS requirements

• Ensuring the QMS meets its goals

• Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to the QMS

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering discipline

• 1-2 years of project management experience

• Hands-on experience with Power Quality and Power Distribution products, preferably gained as a Service Engineer early in the candidate's career

• Knowledge of electrical engineering systems across a broad range of industries, including commercial, mining, utilities, and industrial sectors

• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to use it effectively for engineering and project-related work

• Good verbal and written communication skills
