• Introduction: AGIS CO., LTD. is a Korea-based engineering and manufacturing company located in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do. The company specializes in gas supply equipment manufacturing and related facility installation works, and is currently seeking CAD/plumbing design specialists to support technical design and engineering projects.

• Term of Contract: contract

• Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

• Working location: Based in Jakarta | Open to Relocation to South Korea

About the role

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing plumbing systems for our projects and client assignments. As a Plumbing Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating efficient, compliant, and innovative plumbing solutions that meet international standards and project requirements. This position is essential to our operations, ensuring that all plumbing infrastructure aligns with our strategic objectives and delivers exceptional quality to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design comprehensive plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and international standards

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and system layouts using CAD software and other design tools

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate plumbing requirements and infrastructure conditions

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate plumbing designs into broader project plans

• Ensure all designs optimise water efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness

• Review and approve plumbing installations to adherence to design specifications and quality standards

• Troubleshoot complex plumbing design challenges and develop practical solutions

• Stay current with emerging plumbing technologies, materials, and industry best practices

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and cost estimates for plumbing projects

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification or certification in plumbing design, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years' experience in plumbing design for commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential projects

• Proficiency with CAD software and plumbing design programmes

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, building regulations, and international standards relevant to the region

• Demonstrated expertise in designing water supply, drainage, and sewage systems

• Understanding of hydraulic principles, pressure systems, and fluid dynamics as they apply to plumbing

• Excellent project management and organisational skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Korean is advantageous

• Experience with sustainable and water-efficient plumbing design preferred
