OPERATIONS DIRECTOR - NATIONAL RETAIL/CONVENIENCE STORE CHAIN

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our national convenience-store network.

The role focuses on operational excellence, store profitability, supply chain efficiency, customer experience, and scalable expansion across Indonesia

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead multi-region store operations.

• Drive sales growth, profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Implement and enforce SOPs and operational standards.

• Monitor key KPIs : Sales growth, margin, productivity, inventory accuracy, stock availability, shrinkage, waste, and store expenses.

STORE OPERATIONS

• Ensure consistent executions of merchandising, pricing, promotions and service standards.

• Improve under-performing stores with turnaround plans.

• Build strong manpower structures and performance culture

• Lead Regional and Area Operations teams.

• Ensure strong in-store execution through regular field visits.

SUPPLY CHAIN & INVENTORY

• Strong understanding of end-to-end retail supply chain.

• Ensure high product availability with controlled inventory.

• Manage forecasting, replenishment, distribution, and stock flow.

• Monitor key metrics: fill rate, stock turnover, safety stock, OOS, shrinkage, and waste.

• Coordinate promotions and demand planning with Supply Chain and Commercial teams.

• Improve availability while minimizing waste and working capital.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

• Work closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, HR, IT and Expansion Team,

• Support new store openings and operational readiness.

• Align sales, inventory, and execution across functions.

• Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10-15 years in retail operations, including senior leadership roles.

• Experience in convenience stores, supermarkets, or multi-outlet retail preferred.

• Strong understanding of retail P&L and Supply Chain Operations.

• Proven ability to improve sales, efficiency and store performance

• Strong leadership of large, multi-level teams.

• Data-driven and execution-focused.

• Experience in Large-scale expansion is a plus.

• Bachelor' s degree required; Master' s is a plus.

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Willing to travel across Indonesia.
