Senior Supervisor – Community Relations & Development

Chifeng Gold’s Lane Xang Minerals Limited Company (LXML) operates the Sepon Gold and Copper Operation, located in Vilabouly District, Savannakhet Province, Lao PDR. Reporting to the Executive Superintendent, the Senior Supervisor – Community Relations & Development is responsible for leading Community Relations and Development activities across operational areas. The role oversees field teams, stakeholder engagement, land access, and community development programs while ensuring compliance with company standards, government requirements, and supporting LXML's social licence to operate.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Lead and manage Community Relations and Development field teams.
• Oversee land access, relocation, and compensation activities.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with communities, government, and key partners
• Manage community grievances and support effective issue resolution.
• Deliver sustainable community development programs and initiatives
• Coordinate community infrastructure projects and partnerships
• Manage community development funds and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
• Ensure social compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Represent LXML in stakeholder meetings and official engagements.
• Prepare departmental reports and performance updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Community Relations, Community Development, or Government Relations, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, land access, grievance management, and community development programs.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and issue resolution skills.
• Experience managing community development funds and budgets.
• Strong communication skills in Lao and English.
• Knowledge of Lao regulations and community development practices.
• A valid Lao driver's license is an advantage.
