Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a School Principal based in Denpasar, Bali. The School Principal is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the preschool's academic, operational, and administrative functions. The Principal ensures the delivery of high-quality early childhood education, supports the professional growth of teachers, maintains a safe and nurturing learning environment, and builds strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community. The role also requires close collaboration with the Head Office to ensure the school's operations align with the organisation's standards, policies, and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Vision: Develop and implement the school’s vision and strategic goals. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the curriculum meets early childhood educational standards and supports student development.
Instructional Leadership: Guide and support teachers to enhance instructional practices and student learning outcomes.
Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and evaluate staff. Provide professional development opportunities.
Student Support: Oversee student discipline, behavior management, and support services, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and the community. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure the school complies with all relevant regulations and prepare necessary reports.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure student and staff safety.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
Previous leadership or management experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum and child development.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with teachers, parents, and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to prepare professional reports and communicate effectively with the Head Office and Directors.
Proficient in planning, supervising, and managing daily school operations.
High level of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
