We are Hiring: Climate Science Expert

We're looking for an experienced Climate Science Expert to support a strategic project focused on climate resilience, sustainability, and evidence-based decision-making.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in climate science, climate risk assessment, and environmental management who are passionate about delivering impactful solutions for public and international development projects.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Climate Science, Environmental Science, Meteorology, Geography, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in climate change, environmental management, or climate policy

• Strong knowledge of climate adaptation, mitigation, climate risk assessment, and sustainability frameworks

• Experience with climate data analysis, GIS, remote sensing, or spatial analysis is an advantage

• Experience working with government agencies, international organizations, or donor-funded projects (e.g., World Bank, ADB, UNDP) is highly preferred

• Excellent analytical, communication, and report writing skills

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

💼 Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise on climate science and climate change issues

• Conduct climate risk, vulnerability, and resilience assessments

• Support the development of climate adaptation and mitigation strategies

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate climate considerations into project planning and implementation

• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and stakeholder presentations

• Ensure project activities align with applicable regulations and international best practices
