Job Description:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in telecom installation for Oil & Gas, Offshore, Petrochemical, LNG, Data Center, or EPC projects
- Strong knowledge of telecom and ELV systems installation
- Experience handling: Fiber Optic Installation & Termination, Telecom Rack & Cabinet Installation, Network Infrastructure, PAGA System, CCTV & Access Control, Radio Communication System, and Structured Cabling
- Familiar with international standards such as TIA/EIA, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NORSOK
- Ability to read telecom drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Experience working in fabrication yard, offshore platforms, or industrial construction projects
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Willing to work in Batam and project site environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute telecom installation activities for Oil & Gas and industrial facilities
- Coordinate installation of telecom systems including: Fiber Optic System, Structured Cabling System, PAGA (Public Address & General Alarm), CCTV & Security System, Telephone & IP Communication System, Radio & Wireless Communication System, LAN/WAN Network Infrastructure, VSAT & Microwave System, Access Control System, Data Cabinet & Telecom Rack Installation
- Review telecom drawings, layouts, cable routing, and installation procedures
- Ensure installation works comply with project specifications, telecom standards, and HSE requirements
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and client teams
- Conduct inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration support
- Monitor subcontractor progress, manpower productivity, and construction schedule
- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, punch lists, and as-built documentation
- Support SAT, FAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
- Ensure implementation of PTW, LOTO, and telecom safety procedures
- Participate in site meetings, toolbox talks, HAZID, and safety audits
