Professional Live-In Nannies & Child Educators (China Placements)

Our agency is seeking professional, well-mannered, and energetic to fill live-in childcare and educational roles for established, upper-middle-class Chinese households. These families value structured learning, language immersion, and excellent social manners. Candidates will act as dedicated educators and mentors, helping children develop independence, English proficiency, and strong social skills.

Core Duties across Client Households

1. Language Immersion & Early Education

• Provide regular English language exposure through daily conversation, interactive play, and reading.
• Guide children through school homework, international school prep, and educational activities.
• Create engaging, screen-free learning experiences (arts, crafts, science projects, and outdoor sports).

2. Behavior Mentorship & Good Manners

• Instill proper table manners, polite social etiquette, and respectful communication skills.
• Promote emotional intelligence, confidence, and self-reliance (teaching children to organize their own belongings and manage their time).
• Foster a positive, respectful household environment using constructive behavior management.

3. Daily Routine Management

• Organize and manage the children's daily schedules (school schedules, extracurricular activities, meals, and bedtimes).
• Oversee basic hygiene and nutrition routines.
• Note: Host families employ separate domestic helpers (ayis) for heavy cleaning and cooking; the candidate’s primary focus is strictly child development and care.

4. Travel Companion

• Accompany host families on domestic or international vacations to ensure continuity of care and safety for the children.

Key Requirements (Client Preferences)

• Family & Marital Status: Must be single with no independent family dependents or children. Host families strictly prefer this to ensure total scheduling flexibility, availability for travel, and undivided focus on the household's children.
• Age Profile: Clients look for active, high-energy individuals who can easily participate in physical play, sports, and keep pace with active children.
• Education: University degree or college diploma preferred, especially in Education, Early Childhood Studies, Languages, or Psychology.
• Demeanor: Exceptionally well-mannered, articulate, patient, and highly organized. Must possess strong interpersonal skills to adapt smoothly to a foreign household culture.
• Background: Clean criminal record check, verifiable childcare references, and excellent physical health.
