Klara Cosmetics is a growing beauty and cosmetics company from australia.  We are looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team and help develop, maintain, and optimize our Shopify e-commerce website.

About the Role

As a Shopify Developer, you will work closely with our E-commerce, Marketing, and Design teams to ensure our Shopify store is functional, responsive, visually appealing, and optimized for a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain the Shopify website.

• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Build and update Shopify pages, sections, templates, and landing pages.

• Install, configure, and manage Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and technical issues.

• Optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.

• Ensure the website works properly across different browsers and devices.

• Support technical SEO and basic conversion optimization.

• Manage and update website features, navigation, collections, and product pages when required.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to implement campaigns and website updates.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve website functionality and user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar e-commerce development role.

• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Shopify theme customization and development.

• Experience working with Shopify apps and third-party integrations.

• Good understanding of responsive web design.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• A portfolio or examples of previous Shopify development work is required.

Nice to Have

• Shopify 2.0 experience.

• Basic knowledge of Shopify APIs and webhooks.

• Knowledge of Git/GitHub.

• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Meta Pixel.

• Experience working with beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or D2C e-commerce brands.
