About the role

PT Ocean Centra Furnindo is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time position based in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Raya, where you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our digital presence across social media platforms. As Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty. This role is essential to our company's growth objectives and will directly contribute to our digital marketing success and overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, curate, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant channels

• Create and implement social media marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and brand guidelines

• Monitor social media performance metrics and analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation

• Engage with followers and community members, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with the design and content teams to develop visually appealing and on-brand social media assets

• Identify and implement trending topics, hashtags and social media features to increase reach and visibility

• Manage social media advertising campaigns and budget allocation to maximise return on investment

• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform algorithm changes and best practices in digital marketing

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all channels

What we're looking for

• Proven experience (2+ years) working as a Social Media Specialist or similar digital marketing role

• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices, algorithms and advertising tools

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian

• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, creative content that resonates with target audiences

• Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite

• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva,Capcut, Adobe Creative Suite) or ability to work effectively with design teams

• Strong understanding of social media advertising, including campaign setup, targeting and performance analysis

• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and make informed recommendations

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with the furniture or home décor industry is a plus
